Intercontinental Aphrodite Hills
High in the Cyprus hills sits a family resort with 5-star style and service, the Intercontinental Aphrodite Hills.
Surrounded by a lush looking 18-hole championship golf course and boasting it’s own village square with shops and restaurants, the sprawling resort of the Intercontinental Aphrodite Hills is more holiday village than holiday hotel. If you don’t mind other people’s children in addition to your own – in high-summer there‘s lots of them – check in here for a luxurious break that will please the whole family from tots to teens. The resort’s 290 rooms and suites are high-end and extremely comfortable, decorated in a traditional country club style. All baby essentials are provided and children are kept active with an elaborate kid’s programme and family activities such as horse riding, bike riding (with trikes and baby seats available) and snorkelling trips.
For You -
While the children are having a ball at the kids’ Karaoke night or a mini-disco, you’re free to enjoy the resort’s outdoor movie night. Take a blanket and snuggle up under the stars to watch movie classics on a giant screen against a starry Cypriot sky. There’s a state-of-the art gym where you can book a personal trainer for a fitness overhaul, should you want to.
For Them +
There’s a separate baby pool so tiny tots don’t get bumped by bigger kids while they splash. At Pirates Village kid’s club, 3-12 year olds are kept busy from 10am until 10pm with puppet shows, nature walks, Greek dance lessons and scrapbook-making, to name just a few activities. They can even have lunch and dinner at the club if they want to shake off Mum and Dad and dine instead with newfound pals.
