Le Meridien Spa and Resort Limassol
Le Meridien Spa and Resort in Cyprus is an international favourite that’s perfectly placed for exploring Limassol
The top-ranking Le Meridien Spa and Resort Limassol is a well-organised hotel, set back from a main street just along the coast from Limassol, and is ideally placed to enjoy the city (for ease, there’s a shuttle bus there twice a day). It’s all that you’d expect from a Le Meridien – an international mix of guests, great family-friendly facilities and an extensive accommodation choice of rooms and suites. It’s not small, so those looking for the boutique experience should seek elsewhere. It does, however, have tons of things to do as a family. There’s no less than five swimming pools (plus a children‘s pool), mini-golf, a 5-a-side football pitch, 10-pin bowling, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and endless water sports. Lest we forget the Blue Flag Aoratoi beach only moments away. The kids own eatery, Mickey’s, is bright, fun and perfect for hassle-free eating. Dining as a family is problem-free as well, because the resort’s other eight restaurants have high chairs and early sittings to satisfy hungry, tired children.
For You -
You could blissfully spend all day in the award-winning spa. It’s impressive with seven indoor – outdoor seawater pools and 34 treatment rooms. If you can only manage to snatch an hour or so sans kids, indulge in a thalassotherapy treatment for a truly detoxifying treat.
For Them +
Forget a stuffy room at the back of a hotel complex that pretends to be a kid’s club: Penguin Village is a large, gated, kids-only area accommodating the Penguin Club. There’s a bouncy castle, climbing frame and packed agenda of pottery, painting, fancy dress, cookie making and mini Olympic games. For under-3s, there’s an excellent crèche filled with Early Learning Centre toys and an outdoor, shaded garden.
