The floating heated pool and private marina on the edge of Castadiva resort only hints at the luxury that awaits inside.
An early 19th century villa, Castadiva Resort is today a beautiful resort but much more intimate in feel than its name would suggest. Located on Lake Como’s eastern side in Blevio village, it has two totally private villas and 73 rooms, nearly all of which have terraces with either garden or lake views, nestled within 26,000 square metres of botanical garden.
For You -
Castadiva has a floating heated pool on the edge of the lake between the hotel itself and the water’s edge. There are wonderful jogging trails on site, the hotel has a private marina if you have a boat to moor and the concierge can arrange some wonderful excursions, just for you, of the local area.
For Them +
The surrounding botanical gardens more than make up for the lack of kid’s club as there is so much natural (and safe) space for little ones to explore. Babysitting services are available and food for children is ordered on demand so, despite there not being specific children’s menus, there simply doesn’t need to be because the chef will cook for them to order. The two bedroom villas are particularly spacious for families and older kids love the hotel’s private boat and seaplane trips.
