The idyllic Four Seasons, Langkawi sees luxury meet the beach with a bang.
The restaurants and bars of the Four Seasons Langkawi venture are buzzing; the delicate interiors do little to detract from the awe-inspiring views and apartment-sized rooms; each one comes with a huge stone bathroom leading to an outdoor hot tub or shower. Flooring throughout the property is carefully constructed with antique Borneo rail sleepers and the spa will leave you a Four Seasons fan if you aren’t one already. (If you’re expecting again, the pregnancy massage is a must). You’ll literally want to move in and never leave.

An adults-only pool if the children are busy and you need some “time out” of your own. The Geo Spa (set within forested limestone cliffs and reflective ponds) offers endless bespoke treatments and total sanctuary from the outside world. The specially designed family villas have a private pool and there are no less than four restaurants to choose from.

The “Kids for all seasons” club welcomes little ones between 4 months and 12 years of age. It’s totally free for all guests of the resort and it’s run by highly-trained staff who turn the entire resort into a playground with a combination of indoor and outdoors activities. The resident yogi has developed a special kid’s yoga programme and the resort’s Geopark discovery center is dedicated to showcasing the wonderment of the surrounding UNESCO Geopark. Excursions (including a Mangrove and Monkey Safari) are arranged by the Four Seasons.
