The Peninsula Beverly Hills takes luxury to a new level with its residential feel, eye-wateringly beautiful interiors and first class customer service.
The Peninsula Beverly Hills is one of those hotels that leaves you wondering what on earth you ever did to deserve such a spoiling stay. From the moment you walk into to the lobby – adjacent to the hotel’s sitting room where delightful tea is served every day – you’ll be blown away by the immaculate level of service, to-die-for interiors and gorgeous, luxurious touches. The concierge is one of the best we have ever encountered with a knowledge of the area that must be unrivalled. The food is memorably good and the swimming pool, with its near panoramic views of the city, takes you far and away from the hustle and Beverly Hills bustle below. Just a few blocks from Rodeo Drive, this is a great choice if some retail therapy is on the agenda.
For You -
If space is of importance you will find it here in the form of gloriously large suites, adjoining rooms and, if you can swing it, the exclusive residential-style villas that you’ll quickly make a home from home. The entire hotel is designed to reflect a private residence and that emanates throughout every single beautiful bedroom, every corner of the dining room, every hallway and corridor. The Peninsula Beverly Hills is a stunning experience and the spa is not to be missed either. With a Hammam and steam room, you’ll leave feeling wonderfully revived. If something more upbeat is what you’re after there is also a fitness centre.
For Them +
There are endless activities to keep kids entertained, including a treasure hunt on the hotel grounds with a member of staff, an afternoon in the kitchen with the Young Pastry Chefs’ Academy and, of course, the rooftop pool, which has fantastic shaded cabanas, which are ideal if you have very young children with you. Children aged four and up will love The Young Pastry Chefs’ Academy where they will don a monogrammed Peninsula chefs’ uniform and learn to bake cookies with the hotel’s pastry chefs. Those aged six and up can enjoy “The Joy of Cupcakes” experience. Disney beds (which are literally children’s beds decorated with Disney characters) can be placed in bedrooms if children want to be near you but not necessarily with you at night. Jars of sweets and cookies will be in the room when you arrive (an instant hit, of course) and there is nothing the concierge can’t recommend in the way of activities and dining outside the hotel walls.
